  1. I enjoyed immensely attending Lara's yoga classes. As a novice Lara taught me the benefitsof yoga, not just for the body but helping to relax the mind. No mean feat! thank you Lara.

  2. I attended Laras classes at Abbeydale community centre, really freindly and relaxed class (although working at the same time!) would definatley recommend for first timers like myself. Lara is very knowledgable, freindly and thoughtful.

    I was a member of Lara’s yoga classes for a period of nearly three years. I can honestly say that this was the friendliest and most relaxed yoga group I have ever attended and that I would still be attending if I had not moved away for work.

    Lara herself is endlessly patient, considerate and caring of her pupils and I thoroughly recommend her classes to those seeking inner calm.

  4. I had been diagnosed as having M.E. a condition that i was not going to let get the better of me. I had tried various other alternative classes, which i was always able to complete and participate fully in, but would always end up wrecked for days afterwards. . . Then I came across Lara's class, which allowed me to work at a pace that enabled my body to stretch and progress in a way which was helpful to my health in a more holistic and non competitive manner. . . An aspect i also gained much from, was the yoga nidra, which was a beautiful way of meditation/relaxing at the end of each class. . . If i felt slightly frazzled or unwell, i would go along to yoga, and come out feeling more together and clearer. . . One tip, don't take yourself too seriously, enjoy it, and the movements and benefits will flow more freely. . Thank you Lara for your support as a yoga teacher and for opening up more opportunities outside of your classes. . E.J.

  5. I have been attending Lara's classes for several years. I find them both physically and mentally beneficial. Lara takes great care to ensure her students have the correct posture. I also appreciate her concentration on breathing correctly. The apparent gentleness of the class belies the fact that you are reaching parts of you that other classes do not touch. I always have a good night's sleep after Lara's yoga class. It also helps my practice as an artist.
